After scoring good points in rounds two and three last weekend, Sherco have taken over the lead in the Manufacturers Championship. Three riders have been in the points at all three rounds with Jack Peace (Trial GB) amassing three second places and Tom Affleck ( Trial Expert) going one better with two seconds and a win. However, scoring in all three classes (Trial 125 does not count for this championship) is important and James Fry (pictured Trial 2) has weighed in with twenty one points, which have been vital.
Scorpa, who led after the opening round in May, are now just four points adrift in second, with Andy Chilton (Trial2) taking their only win, but double figure points being scored in all classes at all three rounds to date, have kept them in the hunt.
TRRS are still in contention and a maximum points haul from their number one rider, Toby Martyn (Trial GB) has assisted with this. Backed up with good points from Ross Danby (Trial 2) has helped but it is in the Trial Expert class which TRRS have a void.
Beta currently climb into fourth place at the expense of Vertigo, with GasGas in sixth, whilst Montesa only have Sam Haslam scoring points in the Trial 2 class, which makes it difficult to stay in contention.
The next round takes place at Bowston in Cumbria on Sunday 11th July
